Providing heavy mobile artillery support for Allied ground forces, the M12 Gun Motor Carriage was an effective US designed self-propelled artillery vehicle which saw heavy action following the D-Day landings.

Featuring an open firing crew compartment, it was usual for these guns to be operated from concealed positions behind the front line. However, the M12 would go on to earn the nickname ‘The Doorknocker’ for its ability to blast open heavily fortified concrete bunkers during more direct actions.

Assembly and painting required. Kit does not include model cement glue, paint, and tools. Adult supervision where required.

Airfix M12 GMC Tank

I gave this kit a 3 out of 5. This kit has a lot of pin holes in a lot of the small parts you can't fill because of the chance of breaking it. There are alot of parts with no guide pins and have a very light scribe as were they go, so if your sanding parts down check for the small guide lines first. I'm not sure why but Airfix armour kits don't have any figures, bummer. After figuring out the placement of parts the kit looks presentable.
