Vallejo Scenics German Jerry Can Set of 12 1/35 Scale SC207

I needed a large number of jerry cans for a diorama. Having used Tamiya jerry cans in the past I went on the hunt only to find all its jerry can sets were out of stock. So I turned to the Vallejo set. It is pricey compared to the injection molded Tamiya sets. But the Vallejo jerry cans are far more accurate than Tamiya's, particularly with the offset spout and the shape of the spout lid. The jerry cans are resin cast as a single piece with only the triple handles to be attached on top. The kit supplies these finely cast handles so no need to stretch sprue to replace over-sized handles. So despite the price, I am a fan!
