very good well-imagined reference book and explanation for super modeling

Excelent for table top quality

Excellent reference for getting quality minis on the table quickly. Each chapter covers infantry, vehicle and camouflage patterns, typically in 3-5 paint schemes, with additional notes for increasing the complexity. The only down side is that Japanese forces are ommited.

Awesome book!

This book is going to be super helpful as a newbie to the hobby. It goes over many aspects of modelling, painting and really lays out the tools, paints, colours for various armies. Will be helpful for Flames of War and Bolt Action.
