Tamiya Polishing Compound Course 87068

I recently finished a semi model for a friend. It's a Mobius International ProStar. It was about 85% complete, including thew paint job. The paint work wasn't too bad, but a little rough and inconsistent (thin in some places, runs in others, and more than a few dust specs), so I thought it could use a little polishing work. I dug out some sanding clothes that I have (1800 to 12,000 grit). This helped a lot, but it need that final touch: Polishing. The polishing compounds I had on hand were dried out, so I ordered the 3 stages (Course, Fine, and Finish) of Tamiya polishing compounds from Sunward. I am really, REALLY pleased with these compounds. They take a lot of patience. You can't hurry or rub too hard or you'll cut through the paint on the high edges. But, man, they really make the paint shine! I'm looking forward to trying again on one of my own paint jobs! Highly recommended!!

Amazingly fine grit polishing compound. I often use it as for final buffings on lacquered surfaces especially. I let the lacquer harden for several months then buff it out with this compound.
