Tamiya Color Enamel Paints are used for brush or spray painting, and can be applied to almost any surface of wood, metal or plastic.

Each bottle contains 10ml of paint, and when spray painting enamels, best results are achieved by adding 2 parts of thinner to 10 parts of paint.

Tamiya Enamel Thinners available in 10ml, 40ml, and 250ml

Never apply lacquer over enamel paints.

Misleading if not Informed

Why is it the Tamiya paints all carry the same number for both acrylic and enamel when this survey clearly states X22 and EX22? I wanted the acrylic not enamel. If Tamiya doesn’t differentiate between the two maybe you should on your website.

Thank you for your order. We are following Tamiya's numbering system. We've added 'Acrylic' and 'Enamel' in each paint title as to help differentiate the line.

Excellent to mix with other colours to create glossy stains

Slow curing so you have lots of time to clean it up or subtract from a heavy application with thinner. Even days after it dries.
