Description

The Sopwith Strutter is a British single-engine fighter-bomber or reconnaissance biplane with a mixed design. The crew consisted of two people: a pilot and an observer. The prototype flight took place in April 1916 and the machine quickly entered mass production. Various versions of Clerget and Le Rhone rotary motors with power from 80 to 130HP were installed on machines of this type. The plane was very popular and liked by pilots. The Strutter made history as the first Allied aircraft to use a machine gun synchroniser. Sopwith stutter

Over all it looks very detailed. I think Roden could put a bit more detail into the instructions and a review before printing would be worthwhile. There seem to be a few inconsistencies in the instructions and part numbers, with some not mentioned at all. I do find the duplication of parts a bit confusing. There is some flash but worth it, if the model is well made. I have not built this model yet so I am sure a review at a later date would be beneficial. I am looking forward to building this model and being new to building ww l airplane models it will be a challenge.
