Revell VW T1 Camper 1/24 Scale 07674

I got this model kit for my Dad. He had made quite a few different kinds of model kit vehicles when he was younger but I didn't see any VW Camper vans. When he opened this on Christmas (which side note huge thank you to Sunward Hobbies for having it in stock so soon before Christmas, y'all are amazing) he couldn't stop smiling and immediately asked to show me something. He brought me to his office and pulled out his awards, old models, a newspaper feature even! It was so cool to see him light up for one of his hobbies again. I think this was a great choice!

Delivery was quick

i want to build an apocalypse survival scene with this vehicle. i haven’t assembled it yet but i’ve taken a look at the pieces and they’re really detailed and nice.

Fine.
Found some warping of the front window frame due to tight manufacture's packaging but still useable. Lacked some of the diorama pieces shown on the box illustration but otherwise a nicely detailed kit.
