With an exceptional 100 victories and zero losses in air-to-air combat, the F-15C Eagle could easily be considered the most successful aircraft in the USAF today. A product of the lessons learned during the Vietnam War, the F-15 has served since 1978. It’s powerful, maneuverable-a true, thoroughbred dogfighter through and through. Kit features special decals for Oregon ANG, 173rd Fighter Wing 75th anniversary plus missiles, drop tank, and optional open nose cone.
Assembly and painting required. Kit does not include model cement glue, paint, and tools. Adult supervision where required.

Several modellers’ reviews identified this as a 1979 re-box.. I wouldn’t be surprised. Although - thankfully - the decals are upgraded and only date to 2016. Which, of course, saved the model for me because of its amazing colour scheme.. this model is a complete struggle. The nose section of the fuselage does not even fit properly - leaving a 1/8th inch gap! Two much more experienced modellers (on video reviews) actually gave up on this plane. - one returned to it months later with putty and sandpaper to finish it.., I actually used masking tape (! Painted over) on the underside to cover that gaping gap - even after having filled it with tons of putty. . That being said - if you struggle through, you are rewarded with an amazing plane, mainly because of the stunning colour scheme. Almost every piece of the model had to be scraped to remove extra flash. It really is a vintage ( ie: from the days when I first used to make models models). - kit. It’s really hard to say whether I recommend this product or not. I finished it and love the finished result / mainly because of the amazing display colors. But it is one heck of a struggle to get a decent result. If you want to slap something together quickly it will work as well.
