Description

Revell Spray Color are acrylic spray paints that dry very quickly and have high opacity and high scratch resistance. Due to its special composition, the polycarbonate bodies of RC cars can also be painted with Spray Color.

For plastic, polycarbonate, wood, metal and ceramics

Shake for 1 minute before use, spray at a distance of 20-30cm, repeat process 2-3 times, then clean nozzle – done!

Spray contains extremely flammable aerosol. Pressurized container: May burst if heated. May cause drowsiness and dizziness. Harmful to aquatic organisms, with long-term effect. If medical advice is needed, have container or label ready. Keep out of the reach of children. Keep away from heat / sparks / open flames / hot surfaces. Do not smoke.

Goes on very wet, dries to a semi-gloss

Easy to use. Ample coverage. They recommend 3 coats and it does go on very wet but, no matter what I'm using this clear coat over, I always end up with a semi-gloss finish at best, even after 3 coats. Not as glossy as I'd like for applying decals, but probably just right for most automobile models for that 'scale' shine effect without overdoing the gloss. Sample image shows a portion of this gloss overcoated on a dead-matte black test model.

Used on multiple occasions in different drying settings. Maybe I couldn't nail the perfect relative humidity and temperature to get this to cure properly but it was always tacky. Gloss coating is durable enough for weather techniques and good for applying decals. Mr. Super Clear had superior results.
