Description
A model construction kit of this world-famous first generation US sports car. The foundation stone for the continuing success of the Corvettes was laid with the C1 during the years 1957 and 1958.
– Small-Block-V8-Motor
– Many chrome parts
– Decal set with a variety of registration plates (D, A, NL, B, F, GB, I, CH, S)
Assembly and painting required. Kit does not include model cement glue, paint, and tools. Adult supervision where required.

Revell model kits are very complete and this one is as usual, excellent. I am enjoying building it.

I haven’t assembled the item yet as I have a number of other kits waiting for winter. Yes, I do my kits after the summer is over so my thoughts on assembly will have to wait. I can say that the item arrived quickly and was packaged well. I was a little disappointed in the box the model came in, though. All my kits are in hard boxes of the kind we’re all familiar with but this one was very flimsy with one side flattened down a bit. To open it you had to almost tear one side open. Thankfully, I saw no damage….as I said, it was in a larger box with paper wrapping to protect it…but still…..for the price we pay for these kits today you’d think companies would make a better box. I like being able to lift the lid off and use both halves to sort the pieces which you can’t do with this design. Are they trying to save money? Not happy with this at all. Anyway, hopefully assembly will be ok when I get around to it.
