GT-58 Mr. Grinding Cloth Rough is a set of 3 single sheets of polishing (abrasive) foil with gradation (granulation, density) P400, P600, and P800, each of which is 93 mm wide and 210 mm high. In the presented tool, a durable polyester mesh was used as the base material, on which abrasive elements were applied, which are not susceptible to the so-called clogging. For these reasons, a single sheet has good mechanical strength and long service life, i.e. it can be used many times. The manufacturer also emphasizes that it is suitable for both “dry” and “wet” processing. The presented polishing foil allows to obtain a uniform and even finish of the ground surface, and due to its high flexibility, it is ideal for processing curved, concave, round, or convex surfaces. It can be successfully used for manual grinding and polishing of soft plastics, softwood, but also paints, primers, and modeling varnishes as well as thin layers of dried putty. The presented polishing foils will turn out to be useful for removing small overlays in hard-to-reach places, leveling minor scratches, as well as grinding and polishing the surfaces of models. They can be successfully used when working with plastic models and in the construction of dioramas.
