Full disclosure, I’m a novice with metallics. Before now my experience has been limited to Tamiya and brush painting water based acrylics.
I always found Tamiya to have very coarse pigments. Because of that, it was temperamental to spray and gave a very grainy finish.
Mr. Color Super Chrome is the polar opposite! This stuff sprays beautifully. Nice smooth, even finish and man is it shiny! Mirror finish is an exaggeration, but it is highly reflective. I can’t compare it to the other “fancy” metallics that are out on the market, but for an entry level product, I’d use this again and again.
Very durable finish, with a pretty good polished metal look
