Description

From the early days of the Second Sino-Japanese War to the end of hostilities in the Pacific, the Mitsubishi Zero served as the Imperial Japanese Navy’s main frontline fighter. The first major mass-produced version was the A6M2b, which was equipped with 50cm folding wingtips, landing hook, and radio direction finder for carrier-based operations. Flown by expert pilots, the A6M2b took part in daring operations such as the Pearl Harbor attack and the invasion of the Philippines. It’s 3,000km range, powerful 20mm cannon armament, and legendary maneuverability quickly earned the respect of Allied aircrews. The Tamiya model assembly kit faithfully reproduces this historic warplane in 1/72 scale.

Missing Piece.

I have nothing but good things to say about the service at Sunward Hobbies. Though in this instance I still haven't had a resolution and it's been weeks. This review is not about the company but about the model kit.
Missing piece on the sprue.

Tamiya Zero

Over all experience was excellant. This was my first Tamiya model and I was impressed with the fit and the detail. The instructions were good but could be improved, I found I really had to hunt around for some details
I was in the shop recently and the staff did a great job in helping me out
thanks
Brad

Excellent as usual!

I have only opened the box and looked over the parts. But I build a lot of Tamiya aircraft and the the quality is consistently excellent. Based on my recent builds( 1/48 Spitfire and 1/72 Bf 109G6) I expect the same quality of parts and a very pleasant build.
