Very good product
The horse fell breaking 2 legs and the tail. I used glue and then applied Milliput Superfine White around the back leg. After the Milliput dried I painted and applied clear varnish. I am pleased with the results.
Superfine Milliput does need some getting used to if you're not familiar with using putties. This was my first experience using it to fill gaps in my Concorde build, and so far it's proven reliable and effective. It does require some prep work (well mixing the 2 parts of the epoxy) but the result is indisputable. It sands very well too, and provides a smooth and seem less finish to whatever gaps were exposed, provided you molded the putty when wet, and sanded it enough when cured. It is also water soluble, meaning it can be further molded using water.
This is a product I haven't tried before, although I've worked with various epoxies in liquid and plastique form for over 30 years. It was easy to work with, and I practiced on repairing an old chipped ceramic cup BEFORE I worked on the important one I really needed to fix.
I found a series of videos on YouTube quite helpful on how to work with the stuff; it's much the same as other epoxy putties, but the videos give little new hints every once in a while to help improve one's skills with it.
Used it to repair chipped porcelain & ceramics. Very straightforward to use, easy to handle/shape (especially with a bit of water on your fingers), and looks/feels great after sanding to just 2000grit. Excellent price since I needed less than 1/10th of the pack for these repairs (shelf life is 2 yrs, so I’ll be able to use it on more projects in future).
Also very satisfied with Sunward Hobbies’ customer service - order was shipped promptly, packed well, & arrived within a couple days of placing the order. Will absolutely buy from them again.
