Excel Blades K18 Cushion Grip On Knife

I like the textured matte finish, comfortable and super easy to change blades, doesn’t come with extra blades but can’t really complain at the price point! I got it in purple <3

This is probably the best hobby knife I have ever used, value-wise.

The blade vise holds tight and firm, without any wiggling or shaking during extensive and rigorous use (This review being written after ~1 year of daily use on all kinds of materials). The chuck is located on the rear of the handle, negating any untightening that can occur when the chuck is located by the blade. It also has a hexagonal shape at the top of the chuck, which prevents the blade from rolling off a table or other surface and possibly causing serious injury. Coming in a choice of variety of colors, if you have multiple blade types you can color code them with handles for quick identification with safety caps still on. Finally, there is a very sturdy hard plastic safety cover which fits snugly and will not fall off without human manipulation. It is very unlikely to break unless deliberately crushed. The cap is long and has enough room on the inside to fit some of the longest blades available for this type of handle (saw blade etc)

In short, if you need a hobby knife handle, this is the one to go for. Grab a couple different colors if you need multiple for different blade types so you can identify them easily with their safety caps on and avoid breaking up your work-flow. Highly recommended product.

I bought this knife for the handle. Colour coding different glue looper sizes. Works great with glue loopers.
