Static King makes it easy to model large grassy areas and ensures Static Grass is applied vertically. The Static King has an ergonomic design and can be placed upside down for easy filling. It comes with different Sieve sizes for creating a varied effect using 2-12 mm lengths of Static Grass. A divider allows the use of multiple colors and sizes at the same time for modeling realistic fields and other tall grasses.

Traits:
The clear hopper ensures you always know how much Static Grass you have left.
Built-in bleed-off function allows it to discharge safely on its own.
Indicator light makes it easy to know if the Static King is turned on.

Powered by : 110V Power Supply or 9V battery – not included.

Static King applicator

Always wanted one of these and finally got one. Not cheap but still worthwhile because now I can make my own tufts very cheaply. Still experimenting with it but I can foresee using it often in dioramas. It does what it's supposed to do between 2 and 12mm...I took the advice of other reviewers and got the AC adaptor. So far I'm pleased with the results.

Woodland Scenics Static King Applicator FS639

The Woodland Scenics Static grass applicator is a well made unit and fits nice in the hand.
My one complaint is that it should be a bit more powerful. It definitely has trouble with the 12 mm grasses.
And most certainly buy the extra power supply, FS641. The 9 volt battery just doesn’t cut it.

Great machine

Great machine my one suggestion is if you are using longer grasses such as the 7mm or 12mm get the wall adapter as well. Would have loved if woodland scenics included it but not the end of the world. Especially when sunward ships so quickly!
