I use this thinner universally for brush applied water based acrylic paints. Vallejo, AK Interactive, Citadel, Ammo by MiG, doesn't matter. It works great. Great value for money when compared to offerings from other brands, and especially Citadel.

This thinner is of high quality and is the industry standard for modeling paint thinner medium. You can use this medium to thin down any kind of water based acrylic paint in order to achieve smoother coats. While water can be used for thinning in many cases, if you have a mineral-heavy tap water in your region, this is a much better option (distilled water is another option) for doing so. This medium also has the advantage of being formulated to thin paints down further than water without breaking their chemical structure or turning them chalky where water may do so. If you choose to do so, you may use this in place of water exclusively for thinning any water based acrylic paint and while obviously more costly than water, it is not prohibitively expensive, based on price for volume, and volume needed for use.
