Tamiya Paint Retarder will make acrylic paint dry slower, enabling a smoother finish whether you airbrush Tamiya Acrylic paint or brush it onto a model.

It can be used up to a 1:10 ratio with Tamiya Acrylic Paints. It helps to lessen the chance of painting a grainy surface on your model.

Also, it is ideal for painting glossy finish surfaces.

Have been looking for these for a while

This review is for both the 87114 and 87198 retarder. Both work really well in allowing the paint to level and not dry as quick. For some reason I had to go outside the US to find either one of these. No one in the States had any. Thanks to Sunward I was able to finally get my hands on a couple bottles. Great stuff
