This handy set contains five different sizes of drill bit for use in a variety of modeling applications.

They can be used on plastic and softer metals like aluminum.

The set comes with a plastic storage case and sticker to separate the different diameters of bit.

Metal drill bits: 1 each of 0.3mm, 0.4mm, 0.5mm, 0.6mm and 0.8mm drill bits.

Drill bit set

One of the more useful tools you can have for BOTH plastic OR wood modelling. Many kits asks for various holes from 1.8 to 1.20 etc. to punch out parts of the kit. Along with a hand pin vise (from this site) they are a must have addition for the toolbox. Another bonus is using the finer bits t o add detail like hollowing out gun barrel ends, or opening some vents where they are molded on but not open even in 1700 or 1/48 scale sizes. They are are nice and sharp and not cost killers. I have two or three sets. The really fine bits do some need care as they can break if you push them to hard. You cant have enough of of these. Thanks to good folks at Sunward Hobbies for there speedy service.! Great.
