Tamiya Extra Thin Cement is widely popular glue among modelers around the world. You will find it in most modeler’s workshops. The “quick setting” version dries around 4 times faster than the original Tamiya Extra Thin Cement, saving you time (and energy) holding parts in place! It also has less-tendency to seep out from part joints. Like the consistently popular original product, it is highly liquid and able to flow into even small cracks, making it useful for attaching parts in very tight spaces. It can also be used to attach parts which have been pre-fitted by hand.

Traits:

  • Contenu : 40 ml. La bouteille dispose d'une brosse pratique sur le dessous du bouchon pour une application facile.
  • Ne pas utiliser avec de l'élastomère (utilisé sur des pièces de voie, etc.) car il peut provoquer une fragilité.
  • Le ciment extra fin original de Tamiya (article 87038) est toujours recommandé pour une utilisation dans les situations où vous souhaitez combler des espaces et des coutures plus importants.

I find that the thin cement sealing time is an asset in model building If additional bonding is required stronger adhesive by tamiya can be added to create a bond

Still...Tamiya Extra-Thin Cement Quick-Setting is an amazing glue that sets very quickly as per description. The “quick setting” version dries around 4 times faster than the original Tamiya Extra Thin Cement and because of that this glue has saved me many hours of holding parts while it dries. It produces an extremely strong bond and blends model pieces together very well. I use the Tamiya Extra-Thin Cement Quick-Setting glue on all parts and miniatures I work on...

First and foremost, I'd like to thank Sunward Hobbies for their quick and worry free shipping.
Tamiya extra thin quick setting cement is the only glue I use for acrylic clear transparent plexiglass(windshield and windows) It's almost undetectable, great at filling gaps and watching it snake through gaps and cracks is a reward. I recommend this glue for the avid model builder.
