You have to assemble the drill yourself, but the instructions are clear and everything goes together quite easily. Once finished, you have a handy little battery powered drill that has a nice, slow speed that won't melt plastic models. I'm very happy with this drill and would recommend it to any modeller.
Great little hand drill for models ,,,. compacted and better then my normal hand drill ..
Excellent for drilling where the Dremel can't go.
Great tool for use on model projects on the workbench without having to deal with power cables. One can pick it up and use it just like a knife or file. The speed is good too, just nice and steady.
Overall a quick and fun build. Instructions very clear. Locking mechanism doesn't work as intented but was not planning to use the feature.
A bit disappointed with overal quality for the price paid. The tool is quite large and not that precise, but it'll work. Tamiya could've enclosed a few more drill bits I'm sure at that price...
