La description

The Birmingham Small Arms Company has a long history as a firearms manufacturer and was also well-known as the world”s largest motorcycle manufacturer during WWII. In 1939, BSA began production of a military version of their M20 commercial motorcycle that was fitted with a Lucas light and other additional equipment.
It was powered by a 12hp single-cylinder 500cc side-valve engine and offered superb reliability and ease of maintenance. Modifications were made during the course of the production and late-war motorcycles featured an air filter fitted onto the fuel tank. Over 126,000 units were produced during the war and most of them were deployed with the British Army. They saw service on every front for a wide range of duties including liaison and supply convoy escort. Some were also used by the RAF and British Navy. After the war, the M20 continued to serve throughout 1950s and some were even used until the end of the 1960s.

British BSA motorbyke

Have not built it yet but it is a Tamiya product so I am sure it will be a great product and fairly easy to build!

First Motorcycle kit

First of all, Sunward has excellent order handling and almost always Canada Post next day delivery. The kit is a fun build. More than a little delicate but worth the effort as most Tamiya kits are.

Great kit, Great Details and Plenty of Options, With Diorama Options

I've built a German Tamiya Motorcycle and bought this one to go beside it. The details are excellent and it's easy to build. Plenty of diorama options in this kit, and great figures, something not in my other motorcycle diorama. I highly recommend any of these Tamiya 1/35 motorcycles.

Tamiya British BSA motorcycle kit

This is a tiny model. Except for some saddle bags, it is assembled entirely from one small sprue of parts. The instructions and fit are a bit lower in my opinion than Tamiya's usual standard of excellence, and the spokes on the wheels are too few and too large to mimic the prototype. All that said, it can find a place on a diorama, and the end result is more-or-less satisfying. Not for the inexperienced modeler. I haven't assembled the two figures that came with it so can't comment on those.
