The inside face of these tweezers is smooth, so they do not provide a firm grip to the model component being held. Any slight pressure to the model component causes it to rotate. The holding surfaces of the tweezers need to be roughened in order to provide a firm grip. I expected much better from Tamiya and for the price. I wish I could return this item. I would not recommend these tweezers.
These are very well made and the points match perfectly.
A Tamiya quality tool and these stainless steel tweezers are excellent with enough spring pressure grip to hold the tiny part. Work well with fine PE, rigging, canopy holding, and smaller decals Go into tight spaces. Great addition to my collection of locking tweezer clamps with teeth and various angles so you can find one for special jobs.
