Coupe carotte Excel 55595 manche noir

I've been using an Xacto knife for years to cut out my model pieces. I read about sprue cutters in a Nascar Model group on Facebook, saw this one while buying a Christmas present on the Sunward Hobbies website. It cuts right up against the part and doesn't need any trimming like the old knife used to. And no accidental finger cuts.

They cut well and the spring is really enjoyable. The cut is mostly good but it can be a bit hard to make it as flush as can be. The thinness of the blades is really helpful for tight sprues.

Great tool, feels like a quality high end cutter at a great price. Would recommend this cutter.

This is my 3rd one good value for the money. I replace mine every 2 years. Still use the old ones for less precise cutting.

My Army painter cutters broke and I wanted to replace them. I find these ones less ergonomic and way less sharp than the Army painter ones.
