The SCUD-B is a Soviet short-range surface-to-surface missile that can be transported and launched on a four-axle truck (8×8) MAZ-543. The rocket gained notoriety because Iraq fired it in large numbers at Israel and Saudi Arabia during the Gulf War. To this day, the SCUD-B is the most widely used ballistic surface-to-surface missile in wars and conflicts.
