Mr Surfacer 1000 by Mr Hobby Gunze

An essential primer/surfacer to paint over sanded or modified parts and seams. A must have on my paint bench.

love-hate relation

From my perspective I have hard times to use it. My heart would give it 1-2 stars but this product have a great reputation on the net so I can't give bad comments. I think this product could be great if used really well which to be honest is not my case.

Great products

Liked the product it is easy to apply and build up for modeling. Give a really smooth finish. But hard to sand tends to clogs the grit of sand paper.

Fairing 3D prints with Mr Surfacer

I have been doing a lot of 3D printing using a filament printer and that means all surfaces have layer lines. I find this product is very effective at filling the "slots" in and it dries quickly and sands very easily. Have been waiting for the 500 grit version for a long time but still out of stock.

A must have product !!

Excellent product as its good for covering up surfaces and filling in gaps and cracks on plastic models, and I have also used it to help remove seam lines as it's a finer grain and its easier to spread on surfaces
