The weather forecast for this Saturday’s Cambridge Rocket Club launch calls for light winds (less than 10 KPH) and warm temperatures (30 degrees +). These are ideal conditions to fly, therefore, the launch is a GO. We will be setting up the club launch equipment and ready to start at 10:00 in the morning and will continue flying as long as required.
As noted in my previous email, this launch is open to all members and guests under COVID-19 Physical Distancing protocol. Face coverings are optional but recommended. Disposable face masks will be available at the launch if required. The club launch system will be available to the membership with four (4) of the eight (8) launching positions disabled to promote Physical Distancing. A launch rail will not be provided by the club and you should bring your own if you require one or arrange to share someone else’s. The theme for the launch is Multi-Staging so try to bring your multi-stage rockets to this launch.
