It doesn't "stick" very well, particularly to itself. I have been using 'Frog' Tape, tediously cutting it into approximately 10mm narrow strips for use. Frog has a harder stick and works very well but in rare instances pulls off existing acrylic paint which had been applied over a primer and I am hoping that the softer stick of the AK tape will avoid this. We'll just have to see.
Incidentally, Sunward service is quite incredibly good.
Flexibility of this tape is not good enough for the specific application it is produced for. I certainly goes back to the stiffness of the material and also thickness of ribbon. I also have difficulty for keeping it in place after application. I only use this masking tape on straight and not much curved surfaces. I will not buy this product again and will look for a tape with better quality from other brands.
A really good, product finally from my point of view I prefer it that the Tamiya.
A terrific alternative to Tamiya white flexible masking tape.
