Good, but not great. They need to publish a revised edition. A lot of what the author is trying to say is lost in translation to English (I assume from Spanish?). Nearly every paragraph has at least one sentence with clunky and difficult to comprehend English. A lot of typos too. Also, Section 4 on painting techniques, is not for beginners, but rather, it's for advanced modelers. I also found that section could have been formatted better. Perhaps into sub-categories. It appears that the last 22 pages is all about Weathering. But then, for example, "Dotting and Mapping", which appears to be a Weathering technique, is mention and explained BEFORE Weathering is mentioned. Basically, Section 4 is complicated and confusing. Great to make a beginner aware of all that stuff, but it could be explained and formatted better.

Very basic information for someone who has never constructed a model from a kit. Top marks for publication slickness. However, AK should have spent some money on a qualified English proof reader. Quite a few sections read like they used a translation package. Overall, the book is good, but you will need to puzzle out what they meant at times. I would recommend the book only for a newcomer, just like the title states.
