It comes pre-built and is ready to fly in minutes. The Athena is a great high-performance rocket designed with beginners is mind.

Launched on Estes standard model rocket engines, the Athena can reach heights over 1,100 feet and is easily recovered with a brightly colored, 12-inch parachute.

What you need to launch (sold separately): estes porta-pad ii launch pad and electron beam launch controller, estes model rocket engines, starters and recovery wadding. Four 1.5v high quality aa alkaline batteries are also required for launch controller (not included).

Assembly and painting maybe required. Kit does not include model cement glue, paint, wadding, batteries, igniters, and tools. Adult supervision where required.
