We have identified an issue with the packaging of our BSI glue sold in Canada – the glues are not packaged in child-resistant containers.
We take your safety seriously and have made the decision to recall these glues sold from August 2016 to September 2019. A sample image is shown below.

Issue: The Cyanoacrylate Glues are not packaged in child-resistant containers.
What you should do:
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product. Sunward Hobbies will provide child proof containers to consumers. Consumers may also dispose of these glues by return to Sunward Hobbies. Sunward Hobbies will dispose of these according to municipal hazardous waste guidelines.

The recalled product does not meet the child-resistant packaging requirements for quick skin-bonding adhesives required by the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations, 2001 under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act.
This type of glue is capable of bonding skin instantly. The lack of child-resistant packaging could result in unintentional exposure to these products and lead to serious illness or injury.
As of April 2, 2020, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.
