PREPARATION AND SPRAYING
The surfaces to be painted must be thoroughly clean and free from dust, grease, oil and finger marks.

Apply the correct primer for the type of Alclad being used.

ALCLAD should be sprayed at 12-15psi. Spray from a distance of 2-3 inches from the surface being painted using a narrow to medium width spray fan. Use the airbrush like a paint brush-aim to cover the model in a methodical manner.

Buffing is not necessary-tonal variation can be made by polishing selected panels with Micromesh.

Amazing clear coat!

The easiest to work with! No mixing, no issues, no petrol based thinner, cures hard, and it's awesome to work over.

Exactly what I was looking for!!

I’ve been trying other brands of clear finishes tring to get a flat finish. Nothing seemed to give a perfect flat coat. I was recommended the Alcad II ALC 314 Klear Kote Flat.Although it’s not a spray, it can either be hand painted or airbrushed and it delivers a perfectly flat cote. If you want a finish with absolutely no shine, this will do it! It’s the best flat finish I’ve ever used. Will definitely be ordering more.

Fantastic finish!

Works straight out of the bottle no thinning required. I recommend spraying at around 15 PSI for best results!

Fantastic for getting a more realistic fine on models

First great service from Sunward once again. Fast delivery and as always top quality products. I am using the flat clearcoat on my model railroad stock. Most rolling stock has slight shine to it so once I weather them they all get a top coat. It also works to seal pigments on other surfaces such as metal model vehicles
