PREPARATION AND SPRAYING
The surfaces to be painted must be thoroughly clean and free from dust, grease,oil and finger marks.

Apply the correct primer for the type of Alclad being used.

ALCLAD should be sprayed at 12-15psi. Spray from a distance of 2-3 inches from the surface being painted using a narrow to medium width spray fan. Use the airbrush like a paint brush-aim to cover the model in a methodical manner.

Buffing is not necessary-tonal variation can be made by polishing selected panels with Micromesh.

This is a great product for touch- ups, when a model is clear sprayed, and a little sanding is required....like a run, you can re- clear it

Great clear

I used it to clear coat all my metallic parts from alclad and Ak. Easy to clean and no mix to do. Would not use of you want high gloss finish.

This clear coat is easy to use, looks fantastic, and dries to the touch quickly. it can be safely used over Testor's enamels and even Alclad's own enamels as it doesn't react negatively with any paint layers under it from what I have tested. I have yet to try it over an acrylic, but it will definitely be a staple in my paint collection either way. If you like to paint with enamels or lacquers this is a must have.
