PREPARATION AND SPRAYING
The surfaces to be painted must be thoroughly clean and free from dust, grease,oil and finger marks.
Apply the correct primer for the type of Alclad being used.
ALCLAD should be sprayed at 12-15psi. Spray from a distance of 2-3 inches from the surface being painted using a narrow to medium width spray fan. Use the airbrush like a paint brush-aim to cover the model in a methodical manner.
Buffing is not necessary-tonal variation can be made by polishing selected panels with Micromesh.

Can’t go wrong with Alclad, but this lacquer based clear coat is on another level. Levels up smoothly and dries fast. Go get one!
I've run all kinds of different finishes through my brush; This one felt the nicest to apply. The Finish is stunning if you're looking to maintain a shine. It's a far cry from where I began with Pledge Floor gloss...which I still swear by for it's utility.

This was the product that was shipped in the plastic sandwich bag , the lid was loose and about a 1/4 of the liquid was leaked out , quite a mess . Aside from that , I used it to seal a real metal finish and it work extremely well . It didn’t take away the shine like other clear Côté do , works very well so you can weather the model without ruining the Alcoa’s metal paints
This is a must for protecting my Natural Metal Finish projects. Sunward was the only place I could find it in stock.
